1
Starting position
To do a roundoff backhandspring make sure you get a good running start (because you start off with none)then run as fast as you can (the faster you go the better the backhand spring)and do a round-off.
2
Pushing off
Make sure before you jump you are in a standing position with your feet together, your knees together, and your arms by your ears. Put your chin down. Swing your arms down then forward and then go into an elephant position as you begin to lean backwards.
3
Pushing back
Swing your arms above your head as you extend off the floor with a strong hip thrust using your abdomen and armpit muscles from your legs and feet.
4
Arching back
Let your legs drive you upward and backward. Point your toes and extend through your ankles. Make sure you keep your head back between your arms while you start to reach for the floor. Start to look for a landing spot on the mat.
5
Reaching the floor
Keep your body arched as your hands touch the floor or the mat, with your legs and lower body still following. Keep your hands either straight forward or turned in slightly. Spread your fingers a little, keep your feet together, and don't let your knees bend.
6
Coming down
Swing your legs and feet over and snap them down firmly toward the floor. Keep your upper body straight. Do not lock your knees at this point or you will damage them.
7
Finishing position
Land with your legs slightly bent and swing your arms out straight in front of you.
8
Land in the finishing position!

Front Hand Spring
* Be careful and be prepared:
1
Take a couple running steps.
2
You should have something that if you fall it won't hurt as bad as the floor.
3
Before you hurdle(a skip step)throw your hands up and keep your arms straight, bent arms will get you on your head.
4
With your head between your arms put them on the ground, and keep your hips and shoulders open. You should be taking off with one leg but let the back follow up, like you would a handstand.
5
Push through your fingers and spring off the ground. It should feel like you’re going into a handstand except rotating.
6
Push with your arms. Spring! Try not to bend your arms,if you bend your arms, you will fall right on your head and possibly break your neck. Try to use your shoulders. If you did this successfully, and you have enough rotation, you should be on your feet. Many times at first, you will find yourself landing in a squat. This is alright, however it is best if you learn how to properly land. Don't forget to bring both arms up at the same time.
7
If done properly you should land standing straight up and with your head tilted so you are looking toward the sky and with your hands stretched out above you. Good luck!
Cartwheel
Here is how to do a cartwheel:
1) First make sure you are prepared. Have enough room and that you are wearing strechy and comfortable clothing. Also, you may want to put you'r hair up so it doesn't get in your face.
2) Extend your arms straight above your head. Don't bend your arms and keep your hands turned in towards your head, with your arms against your ears.
3) Point one foot in the direction you will be going. Turn the other foot slightly outward, for better balance.
4) Reach with the same hand as your pointed foot. For example, if you pointed your left foot, use your left hand until it touches the floor. Your other hand should follow. While the first hand is going down, the opposite foot is coming up. Keep both hands in the same line that your feet started from, and your hands will point perpendicular to that line.
5) Kick powerfully so your legs come off the ground. Now you are balancing your weight on both of your arms, like a handstand, with your legs straight in the air and out in a straddle/split position. Keep your back straight.
6) Look at your hands. Keep them super straight, firm and balanced. This will help keep your body in control and will aid your aim, agility and balance. Keep your trunk in a straight line from shoulders to hips. You should be turning in a position reminiscent of the spokes of a bicycle. If you're not, then try again and again until you get it.
7) Land on the opposite foot. Do this facing the direction you came from, front leg slightly bent. This should be the same position you started in, but with the opposite leg forward and both feet flat.
8) Straighten out, Your DONE!!!
