Front Hand Spring
* Be careful and be prepared:
1
Take a couple running steps.
2
You should have something that if you fall it won't hurt as bad as the floor.
3
Before you hurdle(a skip step)throw your hands up and keep your arms straight, bent arms will get you on your head.
4
With your head between your arms put them on the ground, and keep your hips and shoulders open. You should be taking off with one leg but let the back follow up, like you would a handstand.
5
Push through your fingers and spring off the ground. It should feel like you’re going into a handstand except rotating.
6
Push with your arms. Spring! Try not to bend your arms,if you bend your arms, you will fall right on your head and possibly break your neck. Try to use your shoulders. If you did this successfully, and you have enough rotation, you should be on your feet. Many times at first, you will find yourself landing in a squat. This is alright, however it is best if you learn how to properly land. Don't forget to bring both arms up at the same time.
7
If done properly you should land standing straight up and with your head tilted so you are looking toward the sky and with your hands stretched out above you. Good luck!
